After extreme stress and turmoil, I have finally gotten my printer to work! You could say I was extremely troubled by this. It took me over 2 weeks, tons of adjusmtnets, a bizillian test prints, but I have finally done it! And I must say the colors look amazing! It almost looks like I painted right on the paper! These flat notecards are printed on high qaulity cover stock 120 lb paper and I'm in love! I want to send out little notes to everyone I know and perhaps I will!  How it works: Anything you see I have done can be turned into a print! So let's say you loved the "Pink Pumps" ..

This past weekend I had the honor & pleasure of attending the annual art gala at the Columbia Museum of Art hosted by the Contemporaries, an organization of young professinals involved in the Columbia art community. The gala was called the Black Jack Ball and naturally was Vegas themed. We were even given $25,000 at the door to gamble away at the various casino tables! Ok, so obviously it wasn't real money, but what a fun idea. Clearly, I am not a gambler beacuse I was nervous and learly of even spending my so called 'monopoly' money at the tables. Today I decided to make my own Valentine's Day cards! Why today? I'm not sure…perhaps I was inspired by so many other people posting V-day paraphernalia. Also, because I got a new fancy printer for Christmas which now gives me the capability to print anything my heart desires and stationery happens to be one of them! Yes, that's right, I can now make personalized stationery for you. That means any illustration can be turned into one of kind notecards. Oh, happy day! This printer has changed the name of the game. Hooray! The new and improved Rebecca Hinson Art website has launched! Obviously if you are reading this blog then you are on the new site...Welcome!!! Who knew one could get so excited about a website. I guess in 2015 this is the kind of thing we get excited about, right? This new website has it's own art galleries for oil paintings and illustrations; a complete e-commerce shop; an art blog; and more! I couldn't be more happy with it. A couple of months ago Lela Rose had a fashion show in NYC. Of course I was not there (I wish). So how did I know about a Lela Rose fashion show you ask? One word, Instagram. The holy grail of all social media sites (at least in my eyes at this point) was flooded with photos from the Spring 2015 show. And WOW! How inspiring her Ready-to-Wear was and is! Above is my favorite from that night. 'Look 36', you are so darn beautiful! All my favorite colors wrapped into once whimsical gown. Oh, how I wish you were hanging in my closet! ..

So I will not try to hide it, when it comes to bows I am like a 6 year old little girl. Ok, truth be told there are actually quite a few similarities between me and the most perfect childhood age but we won't get into those. The one I'm speaking about today is bows. I love bows! All types! And I can't think of a better place for a bow than on an amazing pair of pumps!
