Coastal Bride Blog Post

in New Artwork, Art Exhibits & Events .

My good friend, Gillian, at Coastal Bride recently used some of my illustrations for her blog site. The post included the most adorable DIY "Will you be my bridesmaid?" gift box that Gillian put together. Apparently, this is a newish thing for brides-to-be to give to their chosen bridesmaid. I was completely unaware of this extra little detail that has now been added to the modern day wedding to-do list, but I must say they are pretty awesome! Gillian used a couple of my bridal illustration notecards along with some other goodies including macaroons from Macaroon Boutique (my fav!), Fig + Y..

Hampton Classic Illustration

in New Artwork, Art Exhibits & Events .

I recently collaborated with Equestrian Stylist to create a one of a kind illustration for their ad campaign for the 2014 Hampton Classic Horse Show August 24-31 in New York. We also worked together to design a boutique vendor  and stable row vendor map. I must say, this horse girl might be one of my favorite illustrations yet! What a fabulous event to be able to attend!? in New Artwork .

After months and months of going back and forth on my Sullivan's Island painting, the piece is finally finished! I really had to find my inspiration on this one and had set it aside for quite a while. I recently came back to it with a new set of eyes and am very pleased to say it is complete. This is the third painting of my vintage inspired surf postcard series and I must say it's my favorite. Mainly because SI is my favorite island in the world! I've had so many magical SUP surf sessions there and while the sandbar has changed and isn't that great for surfing anymore, it's still near and dea..

SHE Magazine article

in Art Studio, Art Exhibits & Events .

Last month I was contacted by the ladies at SHE magazine wanting to know if I would be their featured artist for the month of July and of course I said yes! I'm still not entirely sure how they found out/saw my work, but oh well! You can pick up the magazine throughout the Pee Dee and Grand Strand region of South Carolina.
