As some of you may know 193 King, the building where I had my studio, was sold a few months back. We knew things were going to change drastically once the sale was closed so we started searching for a new space. The search started out super frustrating; there seemed to be nothing out there the right size and/or price. Everything around town was either for a massive company with thousands of square footage or just WAY overpriced (not surprising for Charleston). Last week our search came to an end when we found a new studio just two blocks away! Makes for pretty easy moving, eh? We started the exciting move bright and early this morning. Trying to take advantage of the super cool weather and before King Street really got moving, we brought most of the furniture and essentials over. Today was our first official day in the new space and let me tell you...this place has such amazing light! Who knew one could appreciate a window to the outside world so much!
