The Holidays are Here

in New Artwork .

So, hello blog. And happy December! It's been a while. I've been on quite a bit of a hiatus but for good reason. I'm still working on that blog post now and will add soon. I promise.

On another note, can we talk about the fact that Thanksgiving is now over and we are moving on to the next holoiday?! I know I'm not the only who can't believe that Christmas is LESS than 4 weeks away. This happens every year...October and November fly by and before you know it, it's the most magical (and a tad bit stressful) time of the year.

I did some studio organizing recently and found some pieces that need a loving home. They have been added to the SPECIALS section for the holidays.

This time of the year is my busiest season and I love it! There are so many sweet and meaningful requests. Some of my favorite pieces are the ones that end up on Christmas cards. See below. Umm, precious! This little fellow is debuting to the world via his family's Christmas card. Obviously, I relate because my furry friends are my children. Fur moms (and dads) are parents too! Parenting is hard. My children like to eat random stuff off the floor. Example: Yesterday I found a half chewed mini red Christmas bow courtesy of my 8 month old ragdoll, Eva Snow. Luckily, I found the other half later, so she hadn't actually swallowed it, but still. Geez!

Now I need to do my own Christmas cards of course but they seem to come together at the very last minute. Gotta get everybody elses done first. Also, it takes me a while to come up with the idea. I obsess over it just a tad. Ekkk. Any suggestions?

I'll leave with a picture of my families newest addition. Sweet little Eva Snow Hinson-McKee. Yes, her name is hyphenated. :-) Have a great weekend!
